My vision

To see a worldwide collective of people who pray alone, joined in one prayer.

I want every Christian who is tired of the performance of faith to find that there is a quiet place to go, and that they are not the only one in it. Tonight someone is shutting a door to pray, and so is someone on the other side of the world. They will never meet, and they are praying to the same Father.

This ministry exists to give that collective a daily rule and a few good words, and to keep the door open for anyone who wants to come in. It isn't a church, and I'm not your spiritual authority. Everything here is given freely and I will never ask you for anything in return.

What this is and what it is not

What this is

  1. A ritual of prayer. Free, for Christians who are tired of church performance and still believe.
  2. A collective of people who pray alone. Many rooms, one prayer.
  3. A place to read. Sermons, devotionals and a course in the King James Version, to read slowly and by yourself.
  4. A daily rhythm. A simple rule of morning, midday and evening prayer, kept at home.

What this is not

  1. A church. No membership, no meetings, no offering plate.
  2. A reason to leave one. I'm not trying to pull anyone out of a church, and I won't tell you to stay or go.
  3. A spiritual authority. I'm not your leader, and your relationship with God doesn't run through me.
  4. A substitute for care. Prayer sits alongside a doctor or a counselor. It never replaces one.
