A Thirty Day Discipleship

The Few

Chosen, Poured Out, and Multiplied

Begin Day 1 ↓

Thirty Days · Chosen, Poured Out, Multiplied

Thirty days for the ones you are pouring into, and the harvest that outlives you.

Read this the way you would actually invest in someone you genuinely believed in: attentive, willing to pay a real cost, patient enough to wait for a harvest you might not personally see.

For the next thirty days you are going to look honestly at discipleship: what it actually means to be chosen and to choose others, what genuine investment actually costs, and what it takes for that investment to actually multiply beyond you. This will not be a study that treats discipleship as a program to run. It takes relationship as seriously as reproduction, because you cannot multiply what you have not first genuinely, personally given.

The work is arranged in three movements of ten days each. First, Chosen: being called, and calling others, deliberately. Then, Poured Out: the actual, costly work of genuine investment. Then, Multiplied: what it takes for that investment to actually outlive you, in others who go on to disciple others still.

Each day gives you the same tools. A verse to anchor you. A short reflection to be read slowly, not skimmed. A response to actually live out with an actual person, because truth you only agree with changes little without someone specific in front of you. A prayer to pray in your own words. And one line to carry with you into the day ahead.

How to use it: read one day at a time, unhurried, in order if you can. Let the reflection meet your actual relationships, not a hypothetical version of them. Actually do the response. Pray the prayer, then keep praying in your own words.

All Scripture here is from the King James Version. Someone was with you first. Now go be with someone else. Begin.

“The same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” 2 Timothy 2:2
