A Thirty Day Reflection

The Face

Seen, Known, and Transformed Into His Likeness

Begin Day 1 ↓

Thirty Days · Seen, Known, Transformed

Thirty days for the identity you did not have to perform to receive.

Read this the way you would actually look in a mirror you have been avoiding: honest, unhurried, willing to actually see what is there rather than looking away.

For the next thirty days you are going to look honestly at identity: who actually sees you, what it means to be genuinely known, and what real transformation actually requires. This will not be a study that offers quick affirmations. It takes the mirror seriously, because you cannot become who you already are in Christ without first, honestly, looking.

The work is arranged in three movements of ten days each. First, Seen: the God who saw you before you performed anything. Then, Known: the deeper identity that does not depend on others’ opinions. Then, Transformed: what it actually means to be changed from glory to glory by beholding him.

Each day gives you the same tools. A verse to anchor you. A short reflection to be read slowly, not skimmed. A response to actually live out, because truth you only agree with changes little in how you actually see yourself. A prayer to pray in your own words. And one line to carry with you into the day ahead.

How to use it: read one day at a time, unhurried, in order if you can. Let the reflection meet your actual sense of self, not an idealized version of it. Actually do the response. Pray the prayer, then keep praying in your own words.

All Scripture here is from the King James Version. You do not have to perform to be seen. Begin.

“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
